Professional Development

The building industry is an ever changing and developing area. Regulatory and product changes are the norm and there is a wealth of information that it is important to keep on top of. We encourage all of our staff to embrace positive change and the development of productive work practices.

We have a strong commitment to ongoing learning and promote a culture that encourages this through the attendance of Professional Development courses.

Just as Architects are required to attend a number of seminars each year to remain licenced, we believe that this should be the norm for builders also. Hence we require staff to attend 2 -3 courses per year in the following areas:

- Site Safety

- Occupational Health and Safety

- New and Existing Products Seminars

- Manufacturer and Materials Seminars

- Certified Builders Development Courses

- Building Research Association NZ (BRANZ)
